My Delta One Experience to Rio de Janeiro

OMG! I got upgraded to Delta One to Rio from ATL for free. Lord, don’t let me act like a fool when I board. 😂🤣

Yeah, I did a lot begging, cajoling and pulled out that my birthday is next week and I am celebrating. From the customer service agent in FLL to the rep in the ATL Delta lounge, they all said no. I was determined and was planning to try again with the ATL gate agent. While I was in line, I looked at my app and I read a Delta One seat. I nearly screamed!

I am not trying to brag or sound bougie, but I’ve always wanted to have the Delta One experience since it was announced in 2016. The price and number of points required were just so out of reach. However, on August 10, 2019, my wish came true.

So what is the Delta One Experience…….”One of the most exclusive cabins in the sky, Delta One offers a dedicated in-cabin flight attendant and luxurious details that truly make a difference in how you spend your time in the air.”

So for my nine (9) hour flight to Rio de Janeiro, I am going to enjoy every bit of this luxury.

The Experience

It has been a minute since I have been giddy for a flight, but this reminds me of my first time flying. What a feeling!

My flight is in the evening flight (11:30 pm) and I am not even hungry but I am going to eat lol

And have some champagne!I even put on their socks. I already warned you that I was going to act a fool.I even put on their headsetWell, it is time for me to relax and enjoy the experience.We will catch up once I am in Rio. 🇧🇷✈😍
