I’ve been somewhat quiet for almost a month and probably wondering “where I’ve been”. However, it is for a good reason. I am not a full time blogger. I have a 9 to 5 pm that is requiring all of my time. For the last several weeks, I’ve been to Newfoundland Canada to Miami to North Dakota.
At the end of February, I was in St John, Newfoundland Canada where I couldn’t even have an uneventful business trip. As I was leaving the airport to arriving at my hotel, my cab driver had an incident with a black ice and lost control of the vehicle. By reading this blog, you know that we were okay.
The next day, my coworker and I went on a mini walking tour. By the way, the wind was just wicked and so the tour became mini. Oh, but the city is so beautiful.
The following day was waking up to blizzard of 2018. Okay, I am exaggerating, but just a little snow from a Miami girl is a blizzard.
We then drove to the rural part of Newfoundland and I have to admit the road trip was beautiful. Shh….don’t tell the driver, I fell asleep in backseat.
However, the hotel did remind me of Detroit sign of Motown.
We then drove back to St John’s to wake up the next morning to fog. Behind the clouds are mountains
The thick fog stayed for most of morning. As we got to the airport, I had to ask where is the terminal. Do you see It?
The fog finally lifted and I was flying out
I was home for only a week but I literally lived on the beach
And it just kept saying “Welcome Home”
Then it was back on plane to North Dakota. As I was looking out, my thoughts were that North Dakota was buried under snow
I didn’t get a chance to explore Grand Forks, but I did noticed that it has one of best sunrise and sunset
Well North Dakota has come and gone and I was barely home before heading to Montreal Canada.
All I can say is I didn’t pack my long John’s for this trip
