My First International Concert: Bruno Mars

Who travels 8 hours, across the Atlantic ocean, to a foreign country for a concert? Me! My first international concert and it was phenomenal.

I found out last year that Bruno Mars would be performing in Paris, France during my visit and I got excited. Why not kill two birds with one stone — something a first and something different internationally — a concert. How cool is that?

When I started looking for tickets, the tour was almost sold out. However, with persistence and fortitude, I found 2 tickets in the non-noise bleed section. Boy was I doing the happy dance until I saw the price. Now the ticket was a little bit pricey, but you only live once (YOLO).

We were pleasantly surprised with our seating.

The section had a great view of the stage where we would really enjoy the concert.

Stadium

The 24K Magic Tour was at the Stade de France stadium which is the national stadium of France, located just north of Paris in the commune of Saint-Denis. It has a seating capacity of 81,338 which makes it the sixth-largest stadium in Europe.

Concert

The concert started at 7:30 pm and we arrived at 9 PM. Traffic was just horrendous! Yeah that is my story and I am sticking to it 😜 Don’t worry, we only missed the opening acts which no one recognized the artists 👌 Okay, I didn’t know who they were #kanyeshrug

Before making it to our seats, I had to make my grand entrance

Wearing my brand new orange beret….I am in Paris!

And then it was time for Bruno Mars

I am positive I heard Bruno call my name during “Marry You” 🎶
It’s a beautiful night,
We’re looking for something dumb to do.
Hey baby,
I think I wanna marry you. 🎶

The crowd was on fire

And Bruno worked the crowd

The night was just glowing and magical where my beret turned into a bonnet lol

If you do get a chance, go to an international concert and enjoy the experience.  Lastly always make sure your travels are fun and unique.
